Merry Christmas to all my friends and loved ones!
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift. 2 Corinthians 9:15

The wonder of nature comforts me — in times of blessings and in times of deep sorrow — for its majesty reveals the indescribable gift of Jesus in whom I place my faith and hope in eternal life.
The Lost Madrone Ranch, in Comfort, Texas, is my go to spot to experience nature; however, this past week my family headed west on a Christmas vacation road trip to Big Bend National Park.
The park is majestic beyond measure.

The trip was tremendous, and Big Bend was a wonderful place for our family to find comfort, to be together, to celebrate, and to have tons of fun.
We wish you all a blessed Christmas and holiday season.
Enjoy highlights from our trip to Big Bend as my “Greenwood Family 2018 Christmas Card” to you!

May you have a wonderful Christmas Day and may you carry Christmas with you all year long.
Love, Karen
First stop, Marfa, TX.

The fun was just beginning.

The drive along the border was breathtaking.

With stops along the way.

Days of hiking.

Through canyons.

In the mountains.

And across desert.

We spent evenings in Terlingua.

And evenings in the park.

The stunning scenery was unending.

And so was the fun.

A final stop in Marathon, TX before heading home.

A fabulous Christmas family vacation.

Karen: What a wonderful place to spend Christ’s birthday! The Big Bend country gives one an overwhelming sense of God’s hand in all creation. The gigantic rock formations, canyons, stunning vistas at almost every turn, are the most spectacular I have ever seen. Your photographic skill has expertly captured it all! You are truly gifted. You are a gift as well. Thanks for sharing so generously.
