It frightened me — watching the engineer at work.
Adept, skilled, and determined, and very much unsettling.
No, not this spider, patterned in colors of Halloween, intricately weaving a web to ensnare a meal.

The engineer in my nightmare was the specialist at the genius bar, donned in an Apple Store t-shirt, decisively launching programs to recover 67,000 missing photos.
Ironically, my Apple Store genius is terrified of spiders, whereas I would rather handle a creepy, crawly spider than re-enter the scary world surrounding the spookiness of lost computer files.
Horror averted, all my computer data is back from the grave.
I’ll be writing new posts soon.
View some Halloween inspired photos for now — sunsets, longhorns, butterflies, bugs, and more, all in Halloween colors!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Glad you enjoy!
Fantastic! Thank you, Karen. XOXO
Thanks. So happy you are reading! Karen
I hope you are going to back the pictures up on an external hard drive. I have two backups for fear of loosing them. Well worth the time to do it.
All pictures are safe on two external hard drives and my corrupt operating system restored!
OOoh Ella, Nice job
Thanks Karen Happy Halloween
Ella has quite an eye for photography! One of the best memories of her visit was walking with Ella in nature, lending her my camera, and watching what she selected to photograph. Ahhhhh, children in nature!
Thank you?
Typo! Thank you!
Great picture. Since being in Belmont, NC I have not seen more spiders in a concentrated place as Daniel Stowe – they are everywhere – including my office!
